My Journey

Hello, so glad you are here!  My name is Gina; the Artisan and owner of Birch Fire Designs in Northern Minnesota.

Raised in the valley of the Mojave Desert in Southern California. I ventured on a solo road trip across country to the land of many lakes.  Ah yes, and the land of many Birch trees.

Creating is something I have always enjoyed.  Sewing, painting, stained glass, knitting, jewelry, but it is the precious stones bound with metals combined with Fire and nature that is driving this passion of silversmithing.

Thank you for joining me on this wild ride, as I aspire to slowly create one of a kind art for the common soul.
